• Bulk density 600-700 kg / m³
• 1 ton ca 1,5 m³
• Standard EN 14961-2 allows an ash content of pellets of up to 0,7%
• Burning 1 ton of pellets produces about 5-7 kg of ash
• 1 l fuel oil = approx. 2,2 kg pellets

The annual heating consumption standard for new buildings is 150 kWh / m². If the pellet boiler efficiency is 90%, the annual pellet consumption per square meter is 150 / (4,8 × 0,9) = 35,72 kg / a

150 m² the annual pellet consumption of the building is 35,72 × 150 = 5,358 tonnes
