Wood gas boilers, efficiency approx. 90%
The wood gas boiler burns wood in two stages. In the upper chamber, the trees are ignited from below and the flue gases move to the lower chamber, where the final combustion of the wood gas takes place at high temperatures. Thanks to the two-stage combustion, the efficiency of wood gas boilers is about 90%.
